Why Blackberry Factory Not in Indonesia



Jakarta - Indonesia's election not become a production base BlackBerry (BB) by Research in Motion (RIM) was not merely a matter of business. BKPM suggests other causes are many professionals in the rim which is a Malaysian citizen of Indian descent.

The BB is the reason for this Canadian company to build plant in Malaysia which is about the number of workers from Malaysia in the RIM itself.
"The number of professionals in RIM's a lot of Malaysians of Indian descent. It's become one of the reasons why RIM chose Malaysia," said Hanung.
Hanung explained, was from the infrastructure side in the land of the neighbor is more qualified. But, he added Indonesia should not be less terrible than the market share BB users.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) pushed for BKPM coordinate with relevant ministries to optimize the trade diplomats abroad to attract potential investors into the country, mainly based investment information and communication technology.

He said the industrial market ICT (information and communications technology) Indonesia will still be sought after producers in the future world.
To that end, the government needs to approach the manufacturers of the world that the growing market in Indonesia to build its manufacturing in Indonesia.
As is known, RIM BB decided to build a factory in Malaysia. RIM's decision was of course made the Indonesian government was disappointed considering the market share BB users in Indonesia 10 times that of Malaysia. Even in 2012, RIM Blackberry predicted to reap sales of up to Rp 10 trillion.
The Indonesian government also intends to impose disincentives on BB products and also products that are not produced in Indonesia but the target market.
