Variety of Processed Rice

Rice is then cooked into the rice contain carbohydrates and enjoyed every day most of us. With various seasonings, side dishes complement, and ways of processing, the rice into a delicious meal. You may have heard a variety of processed rice but less understood what these dishes. Here are some kinds of processed rice is quite popular in Indonesia. 

Nasi Uduk 

This may often be one of your breakfast menu. Nasi Uduk is easily found. It was tasty, make a lot of people liked it. To make Nasi Uduk, rice mixed with coconut milk added spices such as ginger, bay leaf, lemongrass leaf and nutmeg. Usual sprinkling of fried onions sprinkled over Nasi Uduk before eating. Taste better when eaten with fried chicken, empal, fried tofu, fried shrimp and fresh vegetables cucumber and basil leaves.
 


Nasi Kuning

As the name implies, yellow rice is yellow because it was given turmeric. Similar to rice uduk. Commonly used as the cone for the celebration. Complementary cakes, eggs, dried tempeh, sambal goreng ati and chips. Vegetables consisted of cucumber and basil leaves.

 
 




Nasi Kapau

Nasi Kapau maybe you normally eat when in a Padang restaurant. Kapau is indeed the name of one village in Bukit Tinggi, Padang, West Sumatra. In the presentation, the rice is equipped with jackfruit curry, cabbage, and beans. While side dishes are the curry fish, curry intestine, and the green sauce that tastes spicy.

 





Nasi Bogana

Nasi Bogana is one of the specialties of Tegal. Nasi Bogana consists of white rice mixed with sambal goreng ati ampela, shredded chicken opor yellow, opor egg, sauteed string beans, green peppers stir-fried tempeh.



  





Nasi Liwet

Liwet is one technique to cook rice, rice is by way of inclusion in the boiling water. In making liwet rice, put rice in water that are mixed with broth or coconut milk. Nasi liwet usually served with chili sauce, fried chicken and the egg opor.

  






Nasi Langgi

Steamed rice with accompaniment of superbly thin & sliced dried beef, baked spiced grated coconut, fried chili & shrimp cracker.






 










Nasi Ulam

Nasi Ulam came from the city of Jakarta, or Batavia. Rice is usually served with fried rice noodles, scrambled eggs, potatoes and stews.

  








Rice Krawu 
Usually krawu rice served in small portions and wrapped in banana leaves. Langgi like rice, rice is the rice typical of this area is paved with serundeng Gresik, even serundeng who served with rice consists of three colors: serundeng with white, red or orange and brown colors.
